The Diamandis Lab II research focuses on using applying innovations in tissue engineering, chemical biology, deep learning and mass spectrometry-based proteomics to resolve phenotype-level heterogeneity in different brain and glioblastoma niches. This information looks to provide new insight and therapeutic strategies for a wide variety of neurological disorders
Our research team consists of a highly motivated group of post-doctoral, graduate and undergraduate trainees with an interest in neurosciences. Trainees are encouraged to acquire a foundational knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurobiology, neuro-oncology and neurodevelopment. We also stress a familiarization and novel application of contemporary molecular techniques in these fields including mass-spectrometry-based proteomics, artificial intelligence and tissue bioengineering.
